Željko Čorkalo

Personal

I was born in Šibenik, where I also graduated from high school. I grew up in Tisno, where I now live again. In between I spent almost 25 years in Vienna. In 2021 I completed my tourist guide training and I have a license to work in the Šibenik-Knin, Zadar, Split-Dalmatia, Lika-Senj and Karlovac area.

I enjoy introducing interested visitors to my native town and the area where I grew up. I also like to talk about the customs of the region, the everyday life of the people and their stories.

In my free time I spend a lot of time in nature, I enjoy hiking and discovering unknown places and I like to capture the beauty around me in photos. I have a special passion for my olive groves, which have a great emotional value for me and are an inexhaustible source of strength.

Tours

I offer the following tours. Some of them are very easy, some of them challenging but all of them are very informative. You can also create your own tour which matches your needs and wishes

Tisno & Jezera over the hills tour

This special tour which takes you to six hills offers you spectacular views in all directions, combined with lots of information about the island of Murter, people and culture. Discover the wonderful area while walking on country lanes and old paths. A tour for motivated hikers and curious explorers!

Guided City Tours & Day Trips

Are you interested in discovering even more places? I would be happy to accompany you to Šibenik, Knin, Zadar, Nin, Split, Trogir, Pag, Novalja, Senj, Gospić, Karlovac, the Krka, Kornati, Paklenica, and Plitvice Lakes National Parks, as well as the Velebit, Vrana Lake, and Telašćica Nature Parks, and other interesting destinations.

I also organize individual tours according to your needs and wishes.
